  Soul Strength Medicine Leslie Brocchini, MD, is a highly skilled and deeply compassionate physician serving the community of Sonora, California, through her practice at Soul Strength Medicine. Dr. Brocchini brings a wealth of experience to her position, and is proud to be the only doctor in the Calaveras and Tuolumne areas to hold board certification in both internal and integrative medicine.  A California native, Dr. Brocchini grew up in the Sierra Foothills. She completed her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. She went on to earn her medical degree at Stanford University Medical School in Stanford, California.  Dr. Brocchini refined her skills through a residency in internal medicine at Stanford Hospital, then completed a two year fellowship in Integrative Medicine through University of Arizona in Tucson. A lifelong learner, Dr. Brocchini continues to seek out opportunities to expand her skills and knowledge by regularly completing courses through the Institute of Functional Medicine, Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine, and Anti-aging for Medicine (A4M). Far too many men and women only see a doctor after symptoms arise. This approach robs patients of the power of preventive medicine to enhance health and wellness. Dr. Brocchini firmly believes that integrative medicine has the power to transform lives both before and after illness occurs.  A cancer survivor herself, Dr. Brocchini is an incredibly compassionate and caring medical provider.
